Home sweet home!
But I just want to thank Him for everything He has done and continues to do in our lives :)
Oh, and my deputation tip for the day: plastic drawers (dressers) in the back of our van has kept our clothes so much more organized! And now that we are back home, all we needed to do was put them in our closet. No unpacking to do, and it's always easy to find what you need. We keep two of them in our car. It's made our packing and unpacking much easier and eliminated a lot of stress ;)
As for now, I'm going to keep relaxing a little bit and enjoy my delicious iced caramel latte that my husband made me. He is amazing and I love him so much!
Have a blessed day and thank you for your prayers!

I thought about using this blog as an encouragement and help to other missionary wives on deputation. It seems like every trip has something I learn from and that makes our traveling easier :) So here is one! You might think I'm crazy, but trust me, when you are only home 3 weeks in 5 months, everything that can make your travels better are great things ;)
I recently was given an electric skillet and a rice cooker. We bought a plastic bin that could fit these two with some seasonings and cooking ingredients. We easily can bring it in prophet's chamber that don't have kitchens or to some hotels that allow cooking (not many of them do though, so we won't try in these...).
So for a quick, easy, and clean meal, I boiled spaghetti in the rice cooker, browned the meat on the skillet, and put it all together in a crockpot with my favorite Ragu pasta sauce (protected with those crockpot lining bags for no need to clean it later!). In 30 minutes I had supper made and was able to clean it really quick! I helps have a little bit of a healthier meal while on the road and it helps your budget as well! This bin keeps all the cooking together to make it easier to bring it in and out of places.
There are lots of easy and quick recipes that you can make! Sometimes we stay at missions houses for several days with a kitchen area but no stove or oven. So I'm always happy when we can cook something ourselves :)
Have a blessed day!

In the harvest field now ripened
There’s a work for all to do;
Hark! the voice of God is calling
To the harvest calling you.
Little is much when God is in it!
Labor not for wealth or fame.
There’s a crown—and you can win it,
If you go in Jesus’ Name.
In the mad rush of the broad way,
In the hurry and the strife,
Tell of Jesus’ love and mercy,
Give to them the Word of Life.
Little is much when God is in it!
Labor not for wealth or fame.
There’s a crown—and you can win it,
If you go in Jesus’ Name.
Does the place you’re called to labor
Seem too small and little known?
It is great if God is in it,
And He’ll not forget His own.
Little is much when God is in it!
Labor not for wealth or fame.
There’s a crown—and you can win it,
If you go in Jesus’ Name.

"If ye love me, keep my commandments."
I often struggled wondering if I loved God enough, or how to know if I loved God like I should. I was trying to measure how much I love Him, and basing it on the wrong things. As I was reading the book "A Wife's Purpose" by Cindy Schaap, she talked about this subject. And it opened my eyes and allowed me to see it in a different way. I am glad I can know I love Him because I keep His commandments. Of course I am not perfect! But I am excited to know that my love for Him will increase as I keep obeying Him more and more. It makes me look forward to obeying God! Not that I didn't obey Him before, but there are always areas in our lives that need to be improved. And there are also areas that need to be completely changed. I have fervently prayed to God that He would show me those areas. He has faithfully done so and He is giving me all I need to change them. I am excited about the changes! And I'm praying I will be faithful and obedient to His Word, and that I will allow Him to change me to do His perfect will and make me the person I need to be. I know I can be quite stubborn or forgetful :) I want my prayer to be like this every day:
"Search me O God, and know my heart: try me and know my thoughts:
And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting."-Psalm 139:23-24

Christ is the only way!
"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." Romans 10:9-10
